The duvet cover can be tumble-dried, but you can also choose to air-dry it, which saves energy.
Washing at 40 °C keeps the colour looking its best; up to 60 °C is fine.
You can iron this duvet cover at a medium temperature.
Shake your duvet every day. This will allow some fresh air to circulate between the fibres of your duvet cover. Better for the colour, and keeps it nice and fresh!

How it feels

Percale is cotton in a tight, flat weave with no sheen. It feels cool and crisp, with that light rustle of good hotel linen. Ideal if you sleep warm, and pleasant in every season because cotton breathes. It gets softer with every wash without losing its fresh feel.

Cotton Whisper is a clear, off-white. Fresh and light, the hotel bed in its purest form.

What you get

A complete set: the duvet cover plus one pillowcase (single) or two pillowcases (double and king) of 60 x 70 cm. The cover is longer than your duvet and closes with a double-sided, full-width tuck-in flap, no buttons or zip: tuck it under the mattress and the duvet stays put all night. The pillowcases have an inside envelope flap, so the pillow does not slip out. Everything arrives in a sturdy box with a storage bag for the linen cupboard.

140 x 240 cm (single) – fits a 140 x 200 or 140 x 220 duvet, for a 90 x 200 cm bed. In the box: 1 duvet cover + 1 pillowcase.
200 x 240 cm (double) – fits a 200 x 200 or 200 x 220 duvet, for a 140 x 200 cm bed. In the box: 1 duvet cover + 2 pillowcases.
240 x 260 cm (king, Dutch lits-jumeaux) – fits a 240 x 220 duvet, for a 160 x 200 or 180 x 200 cm bed. In the box: 1 duvet cover + 2 pillowcases.

Frequently asked questions

Are pillowcases included?

Yes: one with the single size, two with double and king, always 60 x 70 cm, with an inside envelope flap.

Does the cover have buttons or a zip?

No. It closes with a double-sided, full-width tuck-in flap: duvet in, flap under the mattress, done. No buttons to come loose and nothing in the way at night.

Will it fit my duvet?

Go by your duvet size, not your bed. A 240 x 220 duvet fits the 240 x 260 cover; the extra 40 cm tucks under the mattress.

What is percale, exactly?

A way of weaving: every thread goes over one and under the next, in turn. That gives a flat, firm fabric that feels matte and cool.

Percale or sateen?

Percale is crisp, matte and lightly rustling. Sateen is smooth, supple and softly lustrous. Both are 100% cotton and 300 thread count; pick whichever you like lying on.

Does it crease?

A little; that comes with percale and with real cotton. Take it out of the machine straight away and make the bed tight and it helps a lot; ironing is possible but not needed.
